Hello and welcome to the Financial Aid Office Website.

REMINDER MESSAGES:

(1) Please keep a current address on file in the Records Office so that you may receive your disbursements and information from the Financial Aid Office.

(2) Please refer to the Information Desk daily for current news from the Financial Aid Office.

NEWS ALERT:

Please review our deadlines under the Information Desk.

If you are returning from a break in enrollment at ECC and you are not making academic progress you must file an appeal to be considered for financial aid again. If you have attempted at least 90 (ninety) units or you have earned an AA/AS,BA/BS, MA/MS, or Doctoral degree, you must file an appeal to be considered for federal and state aid. You have a limited amount of time to submit an appeal.

Do not delay.

UPDATES:

The 2008 Annual Electric Cart Parade Champions.

The Financial Aid Office wins the People's Choice Award and 1st Place for their rendition of Alice in Wonderland in the 2008 Annual Electric Cart Parade. Alice, Tweetle Dee, Tweetle Dum, the Mad Hatter, Rabbit, and the Queen of Hearts and her Court of Cards helped to make this the People's Choice. Additionally, the Electric Cart was decorated like the Disneyland float including an actual tea setting complete with hand-made tea cups, stuffed animals and a black & white checkered floor.

NEW STUFF:

(1) The Financial Aid Office is trying something new this academic year.

All documents must be turned in at the same time so that they can be scanned into our system for easy retrieval and to improve processing efficiency.

(3) The Financial Aid Orientation is now online.

(4) We have added some FREE CALCULATORS and Courtesy Worksheets to assist students. Click on the FREE CALCULATORS drop down menu to see the list.

FUTURE NEWS:

(1) - The Financial Aid Office is preparing information on a new Federal program called the Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG). Click on the Program drop down menu and look for "Get an ACG" to start the process.

COMPTON CENTER NEWS:

The Compton Center Financial Aid Office has a new website. Check it out at www.compton.edu.

2008-2009 Fee Waivers

Method-B and Method-C Fee Waivers have been awarded based on the FAFSA data submitted by the student/spouse and/or student/parent. Students should log onto MyECC to verify their award. Method-A Fee Waivers require documentation and must be processed at the front service counter.
