General Information
ONLY Eligible California residents can have their enrollment fees waived by:
- Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or
- Completing a paper, fee waiver application (applications located in bins outside of SSVC 215)
Loan defaults, overpayment, poor academic performance, and failing to register with the Selective Service do not disqualify a student from fee waiver eligibility.
BOG FEE WAIVER APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Step 1: Complete an admission application to the college. Use your name as it appears on your Social Security Card.
- Step 2: Submit the required document(s) for 08-09 academic year, in person, to the Financial Aid Office (SSVC 215).
Successful Applicants will:
- Receive an email acknowledgment confirming benefits.
- Receive a waiver for enrollment fees ($20 per unit) and for health fee ($14) for Method A only for 08-09 academic year.
- Receive a reduced fee for a parking permit ($20).
