2009 Financial Aid Awareness Fair: Thank You for Supporting Our Event!

The Financial Aid Office staff would like to thank the students, staff and faculty who helped make our event successful. There were several hundred students that participated and learned more about our programs and services. Some answered financial aid questions and won prizes. A special thanks to our awesome facilities employees (managers, admin staff and work crews) for setting up the tables and tents. We look forward to our next Financial Aid Awareness Fair in 2010.

Student Health Services Fee (based on Fee Waiver Types)

All ECC students will be charged a health fee beginning with summer 2006. Financial aid students will be charged according to the type of fee waiver processed.

Degree Program Required

Federal regulations require all students that apply for financial aid to be enrolled in a degree program such as an A.A./ A.S. / Transfer or Certificate of Competence or Completion in order to receive financial aid payments. If you are not in an academic program, please visit the Admission & Records Office immediately to update your admission application on the campus computer system. Financial aid students cannot have an undeclared major.

Student User-id & Passwords:

The Student User-id is formatted usually as First Name_Last Name except in cases where there may be two persons with the same name. Same name cases there is usually a number after the last name. The password is initially set to the last four digits of the student social security number unless it was reset by the student in MyECC.

Student Email Address & Phone Number

The Financial Aid Office will be using the campus email address to notify financial aid students regarding events, deadlines and other activities related to financial aid. Your email address is in the following format: FirstName_LastName@elcamino.edu. Please check your El Camino College email address frequently so that you do not miss critical information. Also, students are encouraged to update the Admission & Records Office with a current phone number.
