Information Services: Available information around El Camino Campus

1. Information on policies and procedures.
2. Information bins outside the Financial Aid Office
3. Information rack on landing area between 1st & 2nd floor in SSC.
4. Information rack on 1st. floor by North Reading Room in campus library.
5. Virtual Advisor to answer your questions (coming soon).

Application Services: Refer to our new Deparmental Calendar of Events for schedules:

1. Financial Aid Orientation: Primarily for new students to develop an Educational Plan and learn the financial aid process at El Camino.
2. Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Workshops: Students and parents that need assistance completing the federal financial aid application. 
3. Scholarship Application Workshops: Students interested in applying for ECC scholarships.
4. Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program Workshops: Students awarded FWS awards and need to understand the hiring process and paperwork. 

Processing Services

1. Customer Service Counter: document intake, workshop appointments, basic financial aid processing, referrals and policies and procedures.
2. Walk-In Advising: document intake, special circumstances, specialized appeals advising, awarding and payments, policies and procedures.
3. Financial Aid Academic Counseling: matriculation, educational planning, Lock-in-Lists, transfer information, financial aid policies and procedures.
4. Suggestion Box:  Please make a written suggestion as this is one way we use to improve services to you. Our Suggestion Box is inside the main Office in SSC215 as you exit the facility.
