STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES (SLO's) |
Student Learning Outcomes (SLO's) are explicit statements describing knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or attitudes that a student will be able to demonstrate at the end (or as a result) of his or her engagement in a particular lesson, course, program, or collegiate experience. SLO's are assessed at the Course, Program, and Institutional levels. |
SLO #1
| Students will gain the ability to independently formulate an education plan that supports their academic and career goals by the end of their first year. |
SLO #2
| Students will understand the various certificates, degrees, and transfer programs that are offered at El Camino College by the end of their FYE orientation. |
