Eastern Europe Summer 2008

The Eastern Europe summer program ran from June 10 to July 2, 2008, and was led by Professor of Geography, Matt Ebiner. · Explore the impressive mountains & lakes of Tatra Nat’l Park

· Wander the hilltop ruins of Spis Castle

· Hiking adventure in Slovak Paradise National Park

· Stay in the beautiful Renaissance town of Levoca

· Spend 3 nights in bustling Budapest on the Danube River

· Croatia

· Plitvice National Park, with 16 turquoise-colored lakes connected by waterfalls (above)

· Stay in the coastal city of Piran with its Venetian Gothic architecture

· Admire Predjamski Castle, located high on the face of a cliff
