SUMMER 2009 - CHINA

All meetings will be held in Social Science 106 from 1:00 - 2:00pm

Total Program Cost
$3599

The Program fee includes
· Round trip international airfares
· $400 airport taxes and fuel charges
· All inside-China travel and transportation in 10 (or more) famous cities including: Beijing (capital and site of 29th Olympic Games), Shanghai, Xian, Guilin, and Qufu (Confucius' hometown)
· All meals, including special meals/banquets
· 4-star hotels during the 11-day travel in China before classes at Weihai
· All tickets to historic sites, amusement parks, and shows
· Professional bilingual tour guide(s) in China—and gratuities
· 16 days of campus study at Shandong University, Weihai (SDUW), plus weekend travel
· All room and board at SDUW.
· Social meetings and activities with Chinese college students and natives
· Free SDUW classes: Chinese language (daily), Confucianism, Buddhism (optional)
· Student international travel ID card with insurance plus (additional) incidental and medical insurance (double-insurance coverage for part of the Program)

The Program Fee does not Include
· Fees for ECC classes
· Visa application fee: info will be provided--group application possible
· Overweight luggage or/and any personal expenses not covered by the Program

· English 1C: Critical Thinking and Composition (3 units)
· English 25A: Creative Writing (3 units)
· History 37: History of World Religions (3 units)
· History 14A: History of Asian Civilizations (3 units)

Free Classes at Shandong University (optional)
· Chinese language
· Confucianism
· Buddhism
