South Bay Children's Choir to Present Holiday Concert

The South Bay Children’s Choir (SBCC) will present its popular holiday program at 4 p.m. Dec. 2 in Marsee Auditorium.

The annual SBCC concert celebrates the holidays with the theme “A New Year…Young Voices Rising” and will showcase favorite seasonal music, in addition to well-chosen classics. The four ensembles of the South Bay Children’s Choir, with their beautiful and expressive vocal sound, will be directed by Diane Simons, who has led the group for more than 20 years.

The South Bay Children's Choir is an auditioned group of more than 100 talented young singers ages 6 to 18. Co-founded in 1996 by Artistic Director Diane Simons and the late Jane Hardester, the choir is known for its beautiful tone and expressive singing. Tickets for the holiday performance range from $6-$18 and may be purchased online at using the online ticketing system or by phone at 800-832-ARTS. The Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Campus parking is $3. Marsee Auditorium is located at 16007 Crenshaw Boulevard, Torrance.
