Programs Summary

There are many ways to support El Camino College students with success opportunities.

Athletics

The Warrior Athletics program offers a comprehensive and competitive sports program, which meets the diverse educational needs of each individual student-athlete, while promoting student success and learning, both on and off-campus.

Center for the Arts

The Fine Arts play an integral role in the vision of El Camino College. For 50 years, artists and attractions presented by the Center for the Arts (CFA) have enhanced the educational goals of the college and positively enriched the lives of our students and community. The CFA produces and provides event coordination for over 350 performance, production, rehearsal and classroom activities annually. ECC's Fine Arts concentrations include Music, Theatre, Dance, Art, Communication Studies, Photography and Film/Video.

Community Partners: $2,500+

Business support from companies with a vested interest in the South Bay community.  As a Community Partner sponsor, special recognition and acknowledgement will be received in various media publications. Businesses will also be included in our President's Circle, and receive exclusive invitations to special events on campus, including the annual President’s Dinner and Scholarship Awards Ceremony.

Legacy Circle: $ TBD

Special legacy gifts may be designed to meet the distinct needs and financial requirements of each individual donor. Gifts may consist of cash, securities (stocks or bonds), real estate or other personal assets, including charitable gift annuities, bequests through wills or living trusts, and/or charitable remainder trusts.

Naming Opportunities: $25,000+

New facilities naming rights are available from the Foundation office upon request. Please contact Andrea Sala, Executive Director at asala@elcamino.edu.

President’s Circle: $1,000+

President's Circle members are leading supporters of the ECC community. Contributions fund student enrichment, faculty excellence and educational programs. Benefits include special recognition and exclusive invitations to college events, including the annual President's Dinner.

Scholarships: $1,000+

Designated scholarships are supported through meaningful community contributions from individuals and corporations. Scholarships may be targeted to specific students and provide support for tuition, fees, textbooks and supplies. The Foundation awards over 600 scholarships annually.

South Bay Promise

An endowment fund was established to cover all enrollment fees for new, first-year, full-time ECC students, for up to two years. The program has supported nearly 2,000 students to date. Encourages local students to attend El Camino College immediately following high school graduation. The South Bay Promise addresses college affordability, a college-going culture, and bolsters economic and workforce development in the South Bay.

STEM

Invest in ECC’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education program. Through the college’s innovative, problem-solving, discovery, and exploratory curriculum, students actively learn to derive solutions to everyday problems.

Student Emergency Fund

The ECC Foundation established this new fund in March 2020 as a direct response to COVID-19 to assist students impacted by the pandemic. The fund will support: Food for the Warrior Cupboard drive-thru food pantry; laptops and mobile MiFi hotspots to assist with remote learning; emergency funds due to lost jobs and reduced wages; rent, transportation and other living expenses.

Warrior Pantry

The Warrior Pantry is ECC's on-campus food pantry which supports students facing food insecurity. The Warrior Pantry accepts both monetary gifts and non-perishable food/personal care items. Financial contributions may be made through the Foundation.
