Safety Matters
Our Campus Watch Program is back! Join the challenge and be a part of our proactive and safe college environment. Campus Watch is designed to empower everyone on campus to watch out for each other, be alert to dangerous situations and report suspicious activities. Students, employees and visitors are encouraged to look out for each others' welfare, and to take action if need be.
JOIN AN AREA CAMPUS WATCH GROUP!
Area 1 – North (Bookstore, Tech Arts, Shops, Modulars, Facilities)
First Tuesday of every month 1:00 p.m. @ Tech Arts 154
Area 2 – East (Admin, Humanities, Library, MCS, COMM, NATS, SSC)
Second Tuesday of every month 1:00 p.m. @ Admin 127
Area 3 – South (Student Activities, PE, Arts, Music, Theatres)
Third Tuesday of every month, 1:00 p.m. @ Music 125
BE AWARE! BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND REPORT:
- A tense situation that is about to blow up
- Any unusual noise you can’t explain (screams, breaking glass, etc.)
- Emergencies: fire, accident, critically ill person
- Someone forced into a car or a van
- Property taken out of a room/office that is not occupied
- Broken glass/windows
- Abandoned vehicles
- Anyone hanging around an office/hallway/building with no clear purpose
- Someone looking in the windows of parked cars
