Computer Science Team Wins First-Place Award

Congratulations to the ECC computer science team that took first place at the recent ProgFest Competition! This annual programming challenge at California State University, Los Angeles included high school, community college, and university teams solving college-level and real-world programming problems by applying the principles of computer science. El Camino College's team included Theodore Lee, Michael Perry, and Emerson Jacobson. Thanks to all the computer science faculty who helped train and prepare the students. This victory is one of many for ECC at this event since 2009 – check out all the awards on display in MBA 113.
