Architecture Field Trip

Architecture professor Michael Stallings recently took a group of 30 students on An architectural tour of Los Angeles. The annual tour covered a variety of L.A. architectural landmarks and included a presentation from the team that designed Da Vinci High School. Stops included the 250-story ARCO Towers, the Bonaventure Hotel, Angels Flight funicular, The Museum of Contemporary Art, the new Broad Museum, Disney Concert Hall, the Music Center, the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, L.A. City Hall, Caltrans, the 125-year-old Bradbury Building, the Biltmore, and Beaux Arts museums in Exposition Park. The day ended with a tour of USC and the USC School of Architecture, where three El Camino College alumni talked to the group.
