Congratulations to dance student Tzong-Han Wu who presented his original work at the Final Gala Concert during the recent American College Dance Festival Conference. Danced by ECC students Daniel Morales, Son Lam Nguyen and Sunwoo Hong, the work was selected by judges among numerous other entries from accomplished four-year BFA dance programs. In addition, Son Lam Nguyen presented an original solo in the informal concert that received a rousing two-minute standing ovation from the entire theater!

The conference at UC Irvine included dancers and faculty from over 40 colleges and universities performing two original dances judged by internationally recognized dance professionals who are experts in the fields of choreography, performance and dance theory. Tzong-Han Wu's original dance work "Prosecutor on that Finger" was chosen to be presented in the final gala concert of the conference – a huge accomplishment! ECC faculty members, including Jonathan Bryant, Daniel Berney, Jessica Kondrath and Liz Hoefner Adamis, attended the five-day conference as presenters, teachers, directors and designers. Students included: Chauntel Browden, SunWoo Hong, Xavia Janisse, Brady Lopez, Daniel Morales, Son Lam Nguyen, Kianna Peppers, Mao Saito, Janaea Scales, Taylor Thomas, Yasmine Vidaurre and Tzong-Han. Son Lam Nguyen and Tzong-Han Wu are exceptional students and dancers who will transfer to California Institute of the Arts and California State University, Long Beach next fall.
