Google for Education Tools

We are pleased to announce that all El Camino College faculty and students now have access to Google for Education tools. Students and faculty can sign into their ECC Google account here: https://myaccount.google.com/. Log in using your complete ECC email ([email protected]) and ECC password. Email will continue to run through Outlook.

The addition of Google for Education brings many benefits, such as unlimited storage, effective spam filtering and powerful search capabilities. Google for Education also allows users to transfer their data to other Google accounts easily.

In addition, Google for Education includes some of the following helpful tools:

  • • Google Calendar - easy coordination of work or class schedules, meetings and events online
  • • Google Talk - supports free PC-to-PC voice calls and instant messaging
  • • Google Docs/Slide/Sheets - allows users to create and collaborate on projects, documents and spreadsheets online and in real time

This new system is designed to help us better communicate, share, and collaborate with each other. Please take some time check out the features of your new Google account.
