In an effort to provide additional parking access on campus, we are pleased to introduce a provisional “stacked parking” program scheduled for the first three weeks of the spring 2017 semester.
All sections of Parking Lot L - south of Redondo Beach Boulevard – will offer a parking system in which cars are parked in marked stalls as well as in the aisles. By using this system, up to an additional 214 cars can park in Lot L. Stacked parking is open to students, employees, and visitors and is designed to offer parking options during the busiest times of the day.
How it works:
As Lot L nears capacity for cars parked in marked stalls, professional attendants from a private company will instruct drivers to park in the aisles. The attendants will provide drivers with a claim ticket to be used for obtaining their keys when they return for their cars. Parking attendants retain keys for those parked in aisles and move vehicles as needed to allow for access and exit.
This system will run from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday from February 13 through March 2. An attendant will remain on duty in Lot L until all keys are returned.
Please note:
Drivers must display a current ECC parking pass. A semester parking permit ($35) or daily parking permit ($3) must be displayed when parking anywhere on campus.
Thank you for working together to keep traffic and parking congestion to a minimum during the first few of weeks of school. For information about additional campus parking and parking tips, please view: www.elcamino.edu/parking.
