The college's annual spring Professional Development Day began with a welcome pancake breakfast, followed by the presentation "The Need to Bridge Equity," led by Vice President, Academic Affairs Jean Shankweiler and ECC Compton Center Vice President Barbara Perez. Equity updates concerning El Camino College and ECC Compton Center were also provided, along with an informative session about how faculty can be involved with BSI/SSSP/SEP integration. Workshops covering the Honors Transfer Program, online education, emergency preparation, financial aid updates, and virtual classrooms were offered, among other topics.
