Welcome New Managers

Please take a moment to welcome El Camino College's newest managers!

Jack Bay, Executive Director, Facilities, Planning, Operations & Construction. Jack has experience in both private industry and public education, most recently serving as chief operations officer for a school district in Colorado. He earned a MBA in finance from the University of Colorado and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Southern Colorado.
Adriana Estrada, Director, Career Technical Education. In addition to leadership positions in workforce development, Adriana also has career experience with employer engagement, career counseling and teaching. Before joining ECC, she was director of academic and employer partnerships at Pepperdine University. She earned master's and bachelor's degrees from Loyola Marymount University.
David Gonzales, Dean, Industry & Technology. David previously held positions in career and technical education, most recently as an associate dean at Long Beach City College. His career experience also includes serving as ECC deputy sector navigator for advanced manufacturing and as the CACT director. He has master's and bachelor's degrees in business from the University of La Verne.
Luis Gonzalez, Technical Supervisor, Industry & Technology Division. Luis joined the El Camino College Industry & Technology Division in 2015 as machine tool technician. He has more than 20 years of experience in the industry and previously served as the chief engineer/maintenance supervisor for Prudential Overall Supply. He earned a certificate in industrial controls from CSU Fullerton.
Crystle Martin, Director of Library Learning Resources. Crystle comes to ECC from a researcher position in the Digital Media & Learning Research Hub at UC Irvine. She has a doctorate in educational digital media and learning from the University of Wisconsin Madison, a master's degree in library and information science from Wayne State University and a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University.
Idania Reyes, Dean, Student Support Services. Idania has worked at El Camino College for the past 11 years in various leadership roles, most recently as the interim dean of student support services and as the student equity director. She has a bachelor's degree in political science/public policy from USC and a master's degree in public administration from George Mason University.
Marc Stevens, Director, Public Information and Government Relations. A public relations practitioner in higher education since 2005, Marc has served as a spokesperson, strategist, and writer/editor. His career began in broadcast journalism as a newscast producer. He earned a master's degree in communication and leadership studies from Gonzaga University and a bachelor's degree in communications from Brigham Young University.
Timothy Winchell, Director, Public Safety Education. Before joining ECC, Timothy most recently served as an instructor at Golden West College, after leadership positions and a 25-year career with Washington State Patrol. He has a doctorate from Portland State University, master's degrees in public administration from University of Washington and in criminal justice from CSU Sacramento, and a bachelor's degree in industrial technology from CSU Long Beach.
