Security Camera Upgrade Approved

New campus security cameras were recently purchased as part of the college's overall safety plan. The security upgrade will replace 88 obsolete campus cameras with Axis cameras and related equipment. The purchase was approved upon recommendation for prioritization through the College Planning Process. Representatives from the ECC Police Department identified the locations and make/model of the necessary replacement cameras, while the Information Technology Services Division provided information supporting network gear and associated intermediate distribution frame (IDF) needed for the devices. Installation will be completed in the near future.

Safety Presentations Available

As part of the El Camino College Police Department's ongoing community approach to enhance campuswide preparedness, officers are available to conduct safety presentations to any ECC class, office, club, committee, or any other student/faculty/staff group.
