At its January meeting, the Board of Trustees accepted an annual financial audit report that gave an unmodified opinion on financial statements for the 2018-19 fiscal year. The El Camino Community College District was audited by the external audit firm Eide Bailly LLP. The audit confirmed that the district's financial statements present fairly, in all material respects, the financial position of the business-type activities and the aggregate remaining fund information of the district as of June 30, 2019. The report is part of the district's responsibility to establish and maintain effective internal control over compliance with the requirements of laws, regulations, contracts and grants applicable to federal and state programs.
