El Camino College proudly welcomed veterans of the Montford Point Marines to campus for a Black History Month luncheon. The event honored the history and World War II legacy of the Montford Point Marines, the first African Americans to integrate the U.S. Marine Corps. Thank you to the members of the Los Angeles Chapter of Montford Point Marines who attended the event and shared their stories of service. Thanks also to Veteran Services for organizing the luncheon that was sponsored by the Black History Month Committee (Student Equity).
