Warrior Smart Start
New students and their families joined a successful Warrior Smart Start event on April 20, with more than 510 people taking advantage of this great opportunity to learn about everything El Camino College has to offer. Several ECC services came together for this special event so that students were able to attend a resource fair and workshops, join a support program, learn about transfer strategies, and more. Workshops were at capacity and the open labs experienced consistent attendance. Numerous students also completed steps to enrollment; 156 students met with a counselor and 95 students attended new student orientation. Many thanks to ECC's Office of Outreach and School Relations for coordinating this enrollment event, and to the collaboration across departments and divisions that made the spring 2019 Warrior Smart Start a success.
