Several online tools are now available or on the way to help employees organize data in a digital format for better tracking and organization, while also keeping with college efforts to eliminate paper files. One new program is SilkRoad, an online onboarding experience that will help engage new employees into El Camino College's workforce using online payroll forms, digital signatures, electronic routing of "paperwork" and targeted information to help new employees integrate faster into our campus culture and their work area. BenefitBridge will be offered through ECC's benefits broker, Keenan & Associates. This fully automated online portal eliminates paper benefits forms and serves as a one-stop information source for employees who want to see their benefit programs and review levels of coverage.
Already in use on campus are electronic forms offered by Formstack. An easy-to-use form-builder program, Formstack is used to gather data and automate day-to-day tasks in just a few clicks. Online forms can be embedded into webpages or emailed as hyperlinks.
