This year's Classified Appreciation Week included a week full of activities and workshops focused on the theme: Move * Learn * Relax * Enjoy. One highlight was lunch and a spirited Classified vs. Management Softball Game on May 24, where classified employees took home the victory and bragging rights! Jeff Miera (classified) and Colin Preston (management) announced the game; Jessica Rapoza served as the umpire; and teams were coached by Liz Hazell (classified) and Kaitlyn Hooper (management). A dinner was also served in the Stadium Room on Friday for evening staff. Thank you to the Classified Professional Development Committee for offering many opportunities to learn something new, try different things, and connect with fellow staff members from across campus.
