The Board of Trustees at its May meeting adopted a resolution for the Supplemental Employee Retirement Plan (SERP), effective July 1, 2017. This supplementary retirement program for eligible employees has been reviewed by the district and will be administered through Keenan and Associates.
Employees eligible to participate in the retirement incentive were notified of eligibility and received information and enrollment materials. Orientation workshops and individual meetings were conducted. As of the May 9 enrollment deadline, participation was sufficient to meet the district's fiscal and operational objectives. To the employees who enrolled in this program, we thank them for their years of service to our students, and the college. We wish you all the best in retirement and celebrate the legacy you created through your service at El Camino College.
