El Camino College Compton Center continues with the accreditation process. The Candidacy Application and Self-Evaluation Report are due to the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) by January 6.

The ACCJC External Evaluation Team visit to ECC Compton Center is scheduled for Monday, March 6 through Thursday, March 9. The first draft of the Self-Evaluation Report is being reviewed by ECC Compton Center faculty and staff. The initial review process concluded on June 30. We anticipate another draft being available for review by Sept. 9.

For the fall semester, ECC Compton Center has scheduled meetings for the Self-Evaluation Standards Committees on Sept. 16, Oct. 14, and Nov. 4 from 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. During these meetings, we will review and edit the Self-Evaluation Report and verify evidence for each accreditation standard. The latest version of the “Process to Accreditation” document is available online. This updated document reflects progress made since Spring 2015 and outlines the ACCJC timeline moving forward.
