An updated Facilities Master Plan was presented to the Board of Trustees at its August 2016 meeting. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this plan. There are several new construction projects scheduled for 2016-17.

September 1 is the grand opening of the new Athletic Complex and Murdock Stadium, scheduled for 5 p.m. in Murdock Stadium. The campus community is invited to join South Bay leaders and members of the Murdock family to celebrate this historic occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tours. The new construction project is supported by the 2002 Measure E facilities bond and is open just in time for the first football game of the 2016 Warrior season, set for Sept. 3. Go Warriors!

In other news, the Channel Parking Lot F Structure improvement project continues, repairing deficiencies and upgrading the structure to meet current code requirements. The Parking Lot C project is also in progress.

The Administration Building project will begin in early 2017 and ground breaking for a new gymnasium is anticipated for this fall.
