Project Improvement Process
The first meeting of the Project Improvement Process Steering Committee took place over the summer. The steering committee is working with Interact Communications Inc., a company that specializes in working with community colleges, to improve student access. Thank you to all members of the committee who attended this important meeting.
Interact will focus on the experience students and potential students have during the initial stages of contact with El Camino College. The project includes an internal data review; “spoofing” (secret shopper); onsite review of the “pipeline”, or intake processes; and interviews with staff, students and potential students.
Through this project, we plan to identify areas where the college can make enhancements to the student experience. A final report is anticipated to be completed in November.
