Hundreds of students attended El Camino College’s “New Student Welcome Day” on Aug. 24. The event provided incoming students the opportunity to tour the campus, learn about the many ECC programs and resources, and buy textbooks.

Students were also offered enrollment services assistance, with opportunities to attend an orientation, take college placement tests, meet with a counselor, and create an educational plan. Additional registration assistance will be available to students in the beginning of the semester, with several departments offering extended hours.
