Our new Faculty Online Innovation Grants project launched this fall, with 13 groups accepted to receive grants for new online education opportunities for students. A collaboration between Guided Pathways, the Department of Online and Digital Education, and the Professional Development committee, the grant program was created after the spring 2020 emergency transition of all courses to an online learning format, with the goal of preparing for additional online learning in fall 2020. The grant announcement called for teams of four to six faculty, including a librarian or counselor, that would collaboratively work on designing Canvas modules for either one course in their area, a group of courses designed around an "ideal module," or other online education project in their area. This new project is expected to produce exciting outcomes across a variety of disciplines. Check out the Faculty Online Innovation Grants webpage for a list of the teams and information about each project.
