Instructional Equipment and Supply Funds Allocated

Through the college planning process, nearly $1.3 million has been prioritized in the current year budget for instruction, student support, and campus safety. Designated funds will be used to purchase instructional equipment, furniture, software, and supplies as identified through the planning process. With input from students, faculty, staff and managers, more than $393,000 will be assigned to instructional equipment for use in CTE areas and science labs, such as microscopes and anatomy models. More than $114,000 will go to additional equipment, including patrol car replacements for campus police. An additional $134,000 has been prioritized for professional development and student support projects. More than $321,000 has been earmarked for software/hardware upgrades and staffing needs, and $329,900 will go to facilities and furniture expenditures. The funding is the product of the link between planning, budgeting and the program review process. All of the funded items were identified through program plans and via program review recommendations.
