The college community celebrated the grand opening of the new Student Services building on Nov. 1. We marked this historic occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, tours, and testimonials from students, faculty and staff. Open for the start of the fall 2019 semester, this modern facility has already become a hub of student life, bringing all of the services most critical to students together in one central location. Facility highlights include a new "Warrior Welcome Center" on the first floor, offering new and continuing students a one-stop location to receive application and registration assistance, access financial aid information, and a place to speak to a counselor, among other resources. The Student Equity and Achievement Village – or SEA Village – is another great student resource. In this study lounge, students can access support from staff members via services such as academic counseling, mentoring and tutoring.
