BOG Vice President Visits El Camino College

California Community Colleges Board of Governors Vice President Tom Epstein visited El Camino College on Oct. 25, where he toured the campus and met with students. Vice President Epstein learned more about the administration of justice, fire and emergency technology, cosmetology, automotive technology, welding and auto collision programs and met with students from the college's ASO, Ambassadors and Inter-Club Council programs. He also visited the STEM Center, Allied Health programs and Murdock Stadium. We were pleased to share information about the transformation of ECC through the adoption of the Guided Pathways program and how this process is very important in serving our students so they can achieve their academic goals. We also had the opportunity to demonstrate how our partnerships with industry are shaping the direction of ECC programs. Vice President Epstein said he was impressed with the broad array of academic and career educational opportunities offered to students, as well as the college's facilities and support services.
