Last week El Camino College presented the 80th Anniversary of the Spanish Civil War International Conference. The week was full of insightful lectures led by guest speakers and our own outstanding faculty. We were also honored to host Ambassador Javier Vallaure, Consul General of Spain in Los Angeles and Ambassador Carlos García de Alba, Consul General of Mexico in Los Angeles. An array of films, a photography exhibit, a concert, and a flamenco demonstration were artistic additions to the conference’s diverse offerings. El Camino College is proud to offer educational experiences such as this for our academic community.
