California Community College LGBTQ+ Summit
El Camino students are invited to attend the Fourth Annual California Community College LGBTQ+ Summit, an online event scheduled for May 4-5. This summit is a space for students, faculty, classified professionals, and administrators to collaborate with members of the California Community Colleges campuses at all levels and learn about innovative and successful ideas that allow campuses to better serve and affirm LGBTQ+ students. This year's theme is "UNAPOLOGETIC: Fighting for the Liberation of Queer, Transgender, and Non-Binary Students." In previous years, at least half of El Camino's attendees were students. Last year, the conference drew nearly 950 people to the online event. Learn more on the event webpage.
