Once again, Hispanic Outlook on Education Magazine named El Camino College one of the country's leading community colleges. El Camino is featured among the nation's "Top 25 Community Colleges for Hispanics" in the February 2022 publication. Rankings are based on El Camino's 2019-20 enrollment figures and include No. 14 on the list of top 25 community colleges granting the most degrees to Hispanic students and No. 22 among the top 25 community colleges enrolling the largest number of Hispanic students. Additionally, El Camino ranked No. 8 in the western region for the number of degrees granted to Hispanic/Latino students. This acknowledgment from the magazine emphasizes El Camino's commitment to student success, ensuring students have access to the classes and programs they need to achieve their goals and earn a degree. Hispanic/Latino students at El Camino College represent more than half of the student population.
