Send Silence Packing: Suicide Awareness Exhibit
A visit from the 2022 Active Minds "Send Silence Packing" exhibit brought the college community to the Library Lawn earlier this month. The all-day exhibit was sponsored by El Camino's Student Health Services and was designed to raise awareness about the impact of suicide, connect individuals to mental health resources, inspire action for suicide prevention, and provide an opportunity to reach out to students to ensure they have everything they need for their well-being. Everyone was invited to walk among the Send Silence Packing backpacks to see the photographs and read the stories attached to them. Additional resources can be found online.
