Be Safe for the Holidays!
As we get ready to enjoy the holiday season, all El Camino College employees and students are reminded to take extra precautions while shopping, traveling, and celebrating during the winter recess. Be safe this holiday season and take a moment to review our crime prevention tips for safety recommendations. 2021 Clery Act Report Posted
El Camino's 2021 Clery Act Annual Security Report is now available online. In accordance with the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the annual security reports contain crime statistics for the previous three years relevant to El Camino College classes and activities, in addition to institutional policies concerning campus safety and security. This report is also available in printed form in the lobby of the El Camino College Police Department and in select locations on campus. Upon request, campus police can provide or mail copies of this publication; call 310-660-3100 to request a copy.

At El Camino College, safety is a priority. The El Camino College Police Department is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and is located in Parking Lot K at the corner of Redondo Beach and Crenshaw boulevards.

Contact the El Camino College Police Department:

  • Dial "9-1-1" or press the "Emergency Call 911" button from any El Camino College telephone
  • Call 310-660-3100 from a cell phone or ext. 3100 from any El Camino College telephone
  • Pick up any of the emergency phones located in many campus buildings
  • Press the button on any of the blue emergency phones that are located throughout the campus walkways
  • Press the button on any of the blue "police" phones located in the parking lots
  • Come to the police station
