Classified professionals attended May 20 meeting where members of the Board of Trustees adopted the resolution titled "Appreciation of Classified Employees at El Camino College" in celebration and recognition of Classified Professional Development Week, May 19-25, 2024.
Another amazing Classified Professional Development Week was enjoyed by staff members who participated in many different activities from crochet and painting to origami and yoga. Workshops on topics such as retirement planning, employment recruitment and CalPERS benefits were also offered, in addition to team building, lunch, bingo, and social opportunities. Many thanks to the Classified Professional Development Committee for organizing an awesome week: Kandance Aragon, Sandy Carbajal, Wendy Lozano, Lissette Marquez, Cecelia Mataalii, Connie Nguyen, Jackie Nolasco, Gema Perez, Susan Pickens, Ruben Ruiz, Kenny Simkins, Lisa Tam, Eryka Tyler, and Erika Yates, along with co-chairs Monica Delgado and Tuan Hua.
