El Camino College’s vocal groups once again performed in New York City’s legendary Carnegie Hall. The ECC Symphony, Chorale, Concert Choir, and Women’s Chorus joined special guest artists the Joanna Medawar Nachef Singers (JMNS) to perform Coronation Mass No. 15 in C Major, K. 317 by Mozart. Joanna Medawar Nachef, El Camino alumna, professor, and director of choral and orchestral activities, made her seventh guest-conducting appearance at Carnegie Hall. The award-winning choral conductor has been a faculty member at the college since 1989 and has also led the Los Cancioneros Master Chorale, the Ambassadors of Harmony, the Peninsula Community Church Choir, the Joanna Medawar Nachef Singers, and the Torrance Pops Orchestra.
