Superintendents, principals, and administrators from area high schools recently visited the El Camino campus for a breakfast meeting designed to provide current college information and initiative updates to leaders from the district's feeder schools. The event featured guest speakers from both on and off campus who shared information about El Camino learning opportunities that offer pathways to university transfer and increased access to a college education. Loyola Marymount University's transfer program, transfer agreements with historically Black colleges and universities, and ECC's South Bay Promise were some of the topics discussed. Following safety protocols, the annual breakfast returned to an in-person, on-campus format this year, one of several El Camino programs that helps ensure South Bay students have a clear and direct path from high school to college and beyond.
