Do you need help completing the steps to enroll at El Camino College? Stop by the Welcome Center and our staff can walk you through them in our computer lab.

What type of Student are you? 

If this is the first time you have ever attended college, you must complete an online application. In order to enroll in English and Math courses, you must take the Placement Survey located on your MyECC account. As a first-time student, you are highly encouraged to complete New Student Orientation before enrolling in your classes. Make sure you also meet with a Counselor to complete an Educational Plan to register for classes.

Returning students must complete an online application if you are a former El Camino college student but have missed the last Fall or Spring semester. If you have not completed a transfer-level English or Math course, please take the Placement Survey located on your MyECC account. If you would like a refresher on how to navigate El Camino College, we encourage you to complete New Student Orientation. You are also encouraged to meet with a counselor to complete an educational plan and register for classes.

If you are transferring to El Camino College from another college, and please submit an online application. If you have not completed a transfer-level English or Math course, please take the Placement Survey located on your MyECC account. If you would like to learn about the resources El Camino College has to offer, we encourage you to complete New Student Orientation. We also encourage you to meet with a counselor to complete an educational plan and register for classes.

If you are a K-12 student, you must submit an online application to El Camino College as well as a Dual Enrollment application for every term you wish to dual enroll. Please visit our Dual Enrollment website for specific instructions.
