Safety Procedures ~ A Community Approach
El Camino College and El Camino College Compton Center are following the guidelines set forth by ECC Board Policy 3510 (and CCCD BP 8300) along with a Workplace Security Plan to keep each campus safe.
We remind everyone in our college community to be aware of the potential for dangerous situations; recognize a dangerous situation; record details from the situation; and report any suspicious activity. Students, employees and visitors are encouraged to look out for each others' welfare, and to take action ifneed be.
Our ECC Police Department is trained to respond to workplace incidents and emergencies and will utilize immediate response procedures when appropriate. The department is also working with mutual aide allied agencies for ongoing training and safety through communication.
