The month of events began with the lecture, "Black Male and Female Relationships," featuring special guest Payge Mean Hopper on Feb. 14. An African-American lecture and art display titled "Free at Last" with guest speaker Fulton Washington follows, set for 1-2 p.m. Feb. 21. The Black Student Union Showcase with Nigerian dancers is scheduled from 1-2 p.m. Feb. 23, and the festivities conclude Feb. 28 with "Taste of Soul Gospel Brunch and Read-In."
