Enrollment Management Plan Update
Progress continues to be made with the college's Enrollment Management Plan. Created in 2016, the three-year plan shows growth in high school outreach, dual enrollment, online classes, and winter term enrollment goals over the past year. Enrollment management activities early in the spring semester such as Weekend Registration Days and extended hours were also successful in helping more than 150 students complete core services. Other registration efforts included personal phone calls, texts and emails that reached students directly. One result of these efforts was that the number of potential "Drop for Non-Payment" students was reduced by about 500 from fall 2017 to spring 2018. In other enrollment efforts, two "El Camino Days" were offered this spring, giving new students an opportunity to complete the Steps to Enrollment and learn about ECC resources in one visit.
