The Student Health Center is offering a variety of new workshops this spring. All workshops meet 1-2 p.m. in MBA 418.
March 21 – Trauma Resilience: Healthy ways to deal with traumatic events. Presented by Dr. LaFaune Gordon
April 24 – The Science of Happiness: Strategies for increasing happiness and well-being. Presented by Dr. Ruth Taylor
May 10 - Substance Abuse: What you don't know about drugs and their impact. Presented by Dr. Jan Schaeffer
The Wellness Wednesdays Series features workshops presented by Dr. Victoria Kwon:
April 4 - The New Stress Management: New and old ways to beat stress.
May 2 - Healthy Relationships: Learn about satisfying relationships and how to have them.
May 30 - Helping a Friend: Ways to help a friend in distress while also caring for you.
In addition, a new Trauma Recovery Support Group meets every Wednesday from noon to 12:45 p.m. in Student Services Center, Room 106.
