The college community gathered together on the Library Lawn May 14 for the inaugural El Camino College Pride Fest, part of El Camino College's Pride Week 2019. The first-ever event celebrated the college's LGBTQIA+ student community and their efforts toward equality with music, live performances, food, a photo booth, and resource fair. Sponsored by the El Camino College Student Equity Program, the Gender Sexuality Alliance Club, and the Safe Zone Project Committee, Pride Fest is just one of the activities included in Pride Week. Everyone is invited to the remaining Pride Week 2019 activities. All are free and open to the public.
