El Camino Emergency Fund Update

More than $100,000 has already been raised for our students after introducing the new El Camino Student Emergency Fund in late March The outpouring of support in such a short period of time exemplifies the generosity of our campus and community in supporting students when they need it most.  We are most grateful for the donations to help our students.

The El Camino Student Emergency Fund is designed to help students cover educational expenses so they can continue to stay in college. Funding also supports our Warrior Pantry's drive-thru "Warrior Cupboard" that offers curbside to-go bags of food to students two days a week. Thank you to all those who have donated to this important fund. The El Camino College Foundation has already distributed more than $60,000 to nearly 300 students who have applied for relief. Each emergency fund award has averaged approximately $250 and assisted students with food, books, school supplies, laptops, WiFi, rent, transportation and general living expenses. There's still time to help our students! Contributions in any amount are most welcome and appreciated. Please use this link to donate.
