During the week of Oct.15-19, the California Community Colleges will engage in a week of advocacy and activities to support and build awareness of undocumented students throughout the state. The CCC Board of Governors declared Oct. 15-19 as Undocumented Student Week of Action in a resolution adopted at its September meeting. The resolution notes the CCC commitment to providing an open and welcoming environment for all students, regardless of ethnicity, religion, national origin, immigration status, age, gender, medical condition or socio-economic status.
Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend the many events planned at El Camino College in recognition of this week:

The week concludes with a Dreamers Luncheon, set for 12:45-2 p.m. in Marsee Auditorium. Nominated students will attend this event featuring keynote speaker Diego Sepulveda, director of the Dream Resource Center at UCLA.
