El Camino College was fully accredited in 2016 and is nearing the end of a six-year accreditation cycle. The next full review will occur in fall 2020 and the college community is now preparing for a Comprehensive Peer Review visit from the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges from Sept. 28–Oct. 1, 2020. This visit is an opportunity to display the resources and standards highlighted in the Institutional Self-Evaluation Report, which will be submitted to the Accrediting Commission no later than August 1, 2020. The ISER will serve as the application for accreditation reaffirmation. Everyone is encouraged to review and provide feedback on the Institutional Self-Evaluation Report. A series of public forums are scheduled to solicit comments. Thank you to the Accreditation Steering Committee and the college faculty, staff, and students who are working on the report.
