Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn's office recently awarded a $10,000 grant to the El Camino College Warrior Pantry to assist in efforts that help students facing food insecurities. The substantial grant will be used to ensure the pantry shelves are stocked and will support events where students receive hot meals. The recent funding follows a previous $10,000 grant from Supervisor Hahn's office this past spring. The Warrior Pantry doubled its hours of operation this semester and is now open Monday through Thursday. All currently enrolled ECC students are invited to visit the food pantry in room PHYS 116 for access to supplementary food items.
